Dare to discover the ancient Villa de Granadilla in a different way in a 4×4, and with the help of an expert nature guide and biologist. Granadilla was a walled village of the ancient lordship of Granada and is considered one of the most impressive in Spain.
You will visit the village and the surrounding landscape and learn about its history through its nature and landscape. You will get to know the pastures of northern Extremadura, the mountain of Granadilla, and the interior of the village, an abandoned and rehabilitated village with an authentic medieval aesthetic. You will discover the viewpoint of Casa Marcos where you will be dazzled with a spectacular perspective of the entire ecosystem of northern Extremadura.
On the way back to the charming village of Hervás, you will stop at the spectacular Alcornoque de la Fresneda in Aldeanueva del Camino, one of the oldest in Extremadura with more than 350 years old, an experience of history and nature that will not leave you indifferent!
