Astroturism

In Ambroz-Cáparra, we’ve got everything you need for a destination experience unlike any other, one that whisks you away on a journey through the endless expanse between the Earth and the sky, where night unfolds in all its brilliance and the stars weave a shimmering tapestry overhead. Because here, the night is anything BUT dark and scary!

Discover the magic of our starry skies, where pristine air quality and the absence of light pollution create the perfect setting. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience beneath the twinkling stars of Ambroz-Cáparra.

How have we managed to mitigate the negative effects of population growth and, consequently, the increase in artificial lighting in our towns?

  • With a network of 16 photometers installed across all the municipalities of the Trasierra-Tierras de Granadilla region, we can measure the levels of light pollution and the quality of the night sky.
