WHAT WILL YOU DO?

We offer you an interpreted kayak route through the Baños de Montemayor reservoir, an ideal place to rest, alternating baths in the thermal waters with visits to the monuments and routes through its surroundings.
You will observe the varied vegetation found on the slopes of the Ambroz Valley: the chestnut tree in the lower part and the oak in the higher areas supporting the winter cold.
In addition, you will discover the Pinajarro peak, the highest you will see from the reservoir, and at the bottom of the valley you will contemplate the town of Hervás, a town with a great patrimonial and natural wealth.
The kayak tour will allow you to enjoy a nature sport in a simple way and without the need for experience. An ideal activity to cool off on hot days, discover inaccessible corners or simply to practice a complete sport in a quiet place.

Accompanied by a qualified paddle surf instructor, you will learn to paddle standing on a surfboard larger than normal and very stable, and they will teach you all the techniques so that you can start to enjoy this exciting sport. You will live a magical and unique experience in the original Roman thermal baths that you can visit for free. Dated between the first and fourth century, the thermal enclosure was used favored by the way of communication called “Via de la Plata”, a Roman road that crossed from south to north in the west of Hispania.
You will be transported to the Roman era by making the circuit in the “Caldarium” room, a room inspired and set in this period of history. A circuit of an hour and a half covering: Thermal bath with aroma in marble bathtub (20′), thermal chairs (10′), wet thermal bath (15′), dry thermal bath (15′) and thermal pool (30′).

You will enjoy a linear hiking route of 4.8 km between two chestnut groves of great importance in the Valley: El Castañar Gallego and El Castañar del Duque. You will start the tour, accompanied by a qualified technician, in the final part of the reservoir where the Alagón river enters this great reservoir running next to the pine forests of Granadilla, a forest with an area of 5000 hectares of extreme beauty.
You will continue the route to the Villa de Granadilla, an ancient walled town of feudal origin, evicted in 1955 to build the Gabriel y Galán reservoir and later declared a historic-artistic site in 1980. You can visit the town at your leisure, before or after the activity. Walking along its walls and going up to the great tower you will have a privileged view of the surroundings.

Have you ever experienced an outdoor Scape Room? We propose you to enjoy it in the Castañar Gallego forest of Hervás, declared as “Protected Landscape” with one of the most important and best preserved chestnut forests in southern Europe.
You will follow a route of between 4 and 9 km inside the forest and you will only be able to go out and come back if you manage to overcome certain tests that you will find in the forest. An ideal activity to discover the environment and observe nature in a fun way and working as a team.
