WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The charming town of Hervás offers ample possibilities to enjoy educational, sensory and sports activities in direct contact with its privileged environment, sensory and sports activities in direct contact with its privileged environment.
You will enjoy a linear hiking route of 4.8 km between two chestnut groves of great importance in the Valley: El Castañar Gallego and El Castañar del Duque. Accompanied by a local guide, you will interpret the deciduous forest and its chestnut groves, the relevance that these forests had for the timber industry, the craftsmanship of basketry and local cuisine.
Walking among chestnut trees, you will collect their chestnuts and then roast them to taste them together with the traditional pitarra wine and sausages of Hervás, in a magical setting with privileged views, in a traditional farm near the chestnut grove. We are waiting for you in a magical territory that will not leave you indifferent!
