Nature
Nature is an invitation to explore and connect with the environment in an incomparable natural setting, a space with landscapes you will never forget.
Outdoor activities, hiking, bird watching and contemplating the spectacular landscapes make our region an ideal destination for nature lovers and those seeking experiences in contact with nature.
The Ambroz Valley is proud to boast three protected spaces: the Gabriel y Galán Reservoir SPA, Granadilla SCA, and four Noble Trees. A noble birch tree in Puerto de (Gargantilla), a noble cork oak tree in Fresneda (Aldeanueva del Camino), a noble chestnut tree in Temblar (Segura de Toro), noble chestnut trees in Corbiche and Marotera (Casas del Monte) and the protected public forest in Castañar Gallego (Hervás). A large part of our territory is officially protected in some way.
