Abadía
Stroll along the Ambroz River on the Bien Parada path, take a dip or spend a relaxing day with family in the shade of the wooded areas.
Located on the banks of the Ambroz River, the Abadía swimming hole is the largest one in the area, providing ample space for relaxation in a family atmosphere. There is a spacious parking area and a generous picnic area available to visitors. In the summer the trees provide plenty of shade as you enjoy a meal from the beach bar.
Take in the views of Sotofermoso Palace as you stroll along the Bien Parada trail along the Ambroz River.
Casas del Monte

The natural swimming hole at La Garganta Ancha is possibly the most popular one in the Ambroz Valley, thanks to its crystalline waters and stunning surroundings. But all along the river there are other smaller pools as well.
There are also two restaurant-grills, a tourist lodge and a large area with barbecue grills. There is onsite parking, a children’s playground and a sports area for paddle tennis, beach volleyball and beach soccer.

Gargantilla

Located at the top of Gargantilla, this natural pool is fed by springs from the surrounding mountains.

Segura de Toro
There are two splendid natural pools fed by the crystalline waters of the Grande gorge near Segura de Toro, located just off the motorway with onsite parking. There are two restaurants where you can quench your thirst and enjoy some local cuisine, shaded grassy areas and a nearby parking area.

Baños de Montemayor
Unwind in the natural swimming hole in Baños de Montemayor, an oasis of freshness in an idyllic setting. Enjoy a refreshing swim and then have a bite to eat at a local restaurant.
The natural pool is located in one of the highest parts of the village along a curve in the road that leads up to the town of La Garganta. The waters of the La Garganta stream flow through this lush green setting to form a small, inviting natural pool, complete with restaurant service.
Upstream from the natural pool, along the same stream but across the road, a trail leads to the Molino de Las Pozas Interpretation Centre, nestled among lush trees. The Interpretation Centre can be visited by appointment.
