This reservoir, located in Baños de Montemayor, is part of the Tagus River Basin. It is fed by both the Baños River and a canal that connects to the Ambroz River. When the water level rises high enough, it creates a spectacular waterfall.
This body of water is set in a magnificent landscape right beside the Sierra de Béjar mountains and Pico Pinajarro. Hike the marked PR-CC-40 Pantano de Baños route that circles the beautiful reservoir.
The waters are navigable and in the spring and summer seasons you can enjoy water activities such as paddle surfing, kayaking or big SUP, among others. It has also become a favourite spot of fishing enthusiasts.
Enjoy a carefree day filled with fun or relaxation, surrounded by pristine waters and a stunning natural environment.
