Bodegas Gaia

We are a small winery that produces artisan wines under the PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) seal. Our wine is produced in a restored, centuries-old wine press housed in a semi-underground building in the heart of the Jewish Quarter of Hervás at Calle Bodeguillas No. 2. Hervás is a village with an ancestral wine-growing tradition and the winery is the ideal meeting place for anyone interested in wine culture.
The winery is open to the public in spring for visits and tastings from Friday afternoon to Sunday noon, from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM and from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. In July and August we are open for visits and tastings from Monday to Sunday, from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM and from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. For private groups or events, please visit our website or contact us by phone.
Our wine tastings are paired with cheese from the Ambroz Valley and our own Ambroz-Gaia EVOO. Admission to the winery is free of charge. Optional wine tastings range from a single glass of wine to a more extensive tasting experience. We also offer wine tourism activities such as visits to the vineyards and the winery, one-day wine tours, and guided private group tastings, etc.
