We invite you to discover with official tourist guides, one of the most charming villages in the north of Extremadura: Hervás. Included in the Network of Jewish Quarters, it has one of the best-preserved Jewish Quarter in Extremadura. History and astronomy united from the Middle Ages to the present day in a tour that begins with the Star of David and ends visualizing thousands of stars. A relaxed and unhurried walk in the light of the stars discovering the history hidden behind the streets of Hervás.
Get ready for a dreamy sunset, starting a tour of the charming Jewish Quarter of Hervás, to delve into its history and legends. You will discover the most important names in the world of astronomy, such as the Judeo-Spanish astronomer and historian Abraham Zacut.
Together with Marta, an expert astronomer, you will observe the stars starting the tour at the bucolic Puente de la Judería and its Star of David, continuing a pleasant walk through the most relevant points of the astronomy of the place. You will finish the visit at the Mirador de la Iglesia de Santa María, next to the wind rose, where you will observe through high-end telescopes, the starry sky of Hervás while tasting some delicious local sweets.
