WHAT WILL YOU DO?
In the foothills of Trasierra mountains we find Segura de Toro, the oldest village in the Ambroz Valley, a mountain municipality chiselled by our Vetones ancestors, characterized by their warrior and livestock culture. Segura is located in a mountain range of steep terrain, surrounded by oak trees, counted chestnut trees, woody shrubs and aromatic herbs growing among large granite rocks.
Among such lushness of the forests of Segura de Toro are hidden some centenary grandparents who testify the calm but inexorable passage of time. We encourage you to enter its forests through a circular route of 7.5 km of hiking distance that culminates with the observation of the majestic of Castaños del Temblar, declared singular trees ofExtremadura, some of them are more than 700 years old!
Diversity of flora, forests with closed and open grasslands, wild and domestic fauna, winding rivers and gigantic Pyrenean oaks will observe them closely.
An ideal route to share with family or friends with an expert mountain guide, a beautiful place not to be missed!
