When you visit Cabezabellosa, learn about the history of these washing places, where fresh water still flows.

Visit the “Regajal” washhouse, just 100 meters from Calle de la Iglesia, to see one of the beautifully restored traditional washhouses. Or, if you prefer, head to the “Las Huérfanas” washhouse near Calle Fuente. Don’t forget to fill your bottle and enjoy a refreshing sip of history!

Although washing places were open to anyone, it was the mainly women who used them.
