A WHOLE EXPERIENCE...
Visiting one of the most fascinating Jewish neighbourhoods in the country.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Ready to get to know the Jewish neighbourhood of Hervás, its history and legends?
Hervás grows around a castle in an environment of great scenic beauty, and preserves a valuable historical heritage.

You will walk through this charming village starting your way from the Plaza de la Corredera, the nerve centre of the village, you will go up to the viewpoint of the Church of Santa Maria de Aguas Vivas to enjoy the wonderful panoramic view it offers and discover the secrets that keep its walls.

You will stroll through Hervás, walking quietly through its symbolic streets: Puente de la Fuente Chiquita, Patio de los Cactus, Callejas de los Cofrades, Callejilla and Calle Rabilero.

The Church of San Juan Bautista awaits you at the end of the visit, a jewel of Extremaduran baroque art whose foundation is due to a Jewish convert.

An ideal guided tour to discover magical corners full of history and a wonderful Jewish quarter declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1969!
