Discover the Convento de la Bien Parada, a historic treasure in danger of disappearing.
Located on the outskirts of Abadía, this Franciscan convent was built in the early 17th century.
It housed a school of Theology and Music and was a place for taking care of the sick and educating young people. What remains of it today tells the story of a past brimming with life and culture.
With its beautiful baroque church, carved stone façade and ancient heraldic emblems, as well as a cloister that has stood the test of time, the convent has been an Asset of Cultural Interest since 2012.
Disentailment and abandonment have left their mark, and it is currently not open to visitors due to its deteriorated condition.
